Why I love it:

I’m always amazed when I receive a seemingly small sized blush, and then the color pay off is so amazing that the size really is secondary. That’s the case with Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Lush Nectarine. This little square of pigment packed coral powder is nothing less than amazing.  Calling this blush “Second Skin” is so appropriate as the color simply melds into your own skin, creating a flawless finish, the one that Laura Mercier is know for. It truly looks as if your blush is coming from within, not just sitting on top of your skin.

I have used this blush with a slight hand for a simple “glow” of color, and I have piled it on for a serious pop of color. And, there is always that question — will this blush show up on my brown skin? Well, the answer is yes, and the good news is that you don’t have to pile it on to get a sufficient amount of pigment on the skin. Additionally, Lush Nectarine is probably one of the best peach-coral blushes I have used —  ever. Besides using it on my skin tone which is a medium/light brown, I have also used it on deeper brown tones and it still looks gorgeous.
