Blinging Beauty Events: Dark & Lovely Au Naturale Anti-Breakage Collection Launch in NYC

Dark and Lovely_Au Naturale Anti-Breakage CollectionDark and Lovely introduced its new Au Naturale Anti-Breakage  Collection, designed to reduce breakage, restore and revive strands, and support hair growth, during a chic launch event at No. 8 Lounge in New York City on On February 27th, 2014.

Marsha Ambrosius made a special appearance and wooed the attendees with an amazing performance while  guests dined on  special “culinary creations” by Chef Roble´, who was also in attendance. yearly

The Dark and Lovely Au Naturale Anti-Breakage collection helps strengthen strands by reducing breakage—helping hair grow up to 4 inches.  Formulated with a powerful combination of nurturing ingredients including, honey and Guarana Root, Au Naturale Anti-Breakage is the first full damage-fighting regimen; it leaves hair shiny, supple, stronger and healthy-looking.

The night itself was a beauty blogger’s heaven. In a  room filled with a sea of beautiful women sporting their curlicious, natural-hair inspired styles, inspiration was boundless and  I enjoyed meeting fashion, beauty, and hair bloggers. The Au Naturale team even had a segment that featured women  shared their “Hair Diaries”— their experience with the product line. This group of women covered the spectrum on naturalistas—newly naturals, transitioners, and those who wanted to find products that suited their lifestyle needs. It was great seeing real women share their real experiences with the products.

Overall, the Dark and Lovely event was a great way to introduce its new product line. Everything about the evening was memorable. From Chef Roble’s delectable bites, Marsha Ambrosius’ support of the line and complimentary soulful tunes, filled with the positive beauty and hair networking going on in the room made everything a success all around.  There was even a cool Instagram wall where all photos from the event tagged with #lovemycurls were printed out and put on display.

At the end of the event, all attendees received a goodie bag filled with the collection and some Chef-roble inspired glasses and honey to remake the signature cocktail of the night, The Honeybee. (And might I add, those drinks were delicious!)

I can’t wait to let you know how I enjoyed the product line. Click here to see me prepping for wash day this morning with the products. How fun!
