WHAT: Designer Vince Camuto make a special appearance at Nordstrom San Francisco Centre! Spending an afternoon with fans, Vince will be signing autographs and highlighting the key trends in fall footwear, accessories and sportswear. Bringing local customers his favorite fall fashion tips and styling tricks, Vince will also be speaking about his fragrance and beauty trends, offering a complete window into the Vince Camuto lifestyle.

Vince Camuto, founder and CEO of the fashion company Camuto Group, is an American women’s footwear designer who is known for co-founding and establishing Nine West Inc. as a leading women’s fashion brand. In August 2001, Camuto established Camuto Group, a leading organization for design, development and distribution of women’s fashion footwear renowned for its ability to build women’s lifestyle brands on a global scale.

In 2005 Camuto launched his namesake footwear line, Vince Camuto, filling a void in the marketplace by delivering consumers a signature line at an incredible value. In 2009, Vince reinvented the brand, introduced a line of luxe leather handbags and announced plans to expand the collection to a full lifestyle offering. The Camuto Group is also the owner of the Arturo Chiang brand and is the master licensee for the Jessica Simpson Collection.

The company also develops and manages several exclusive brands for Dillard’s, and holds the footwear license for BCBGeneration, BCBG Max Azria, Lucky Brand and kensiegirl. The company’s portfolio also includes the design and sourcing of footwear for Tory Burch as well as a partnership with the apparel lifestyle brand Sanctuary and Banana Republic.

Bad Beauty Habits: Marna Resolves to Quit Picking Her Face

This year I will work hard to not pick at my skin. Ever since I gave birth to my daughter 11 years ago, I suffered from adult acne. I know that picking at and constantly touching the skin on my face is a recipe for disaster. Hands and nails are the worst culprits of skin problems. So why do I do it? Its a nervous habit I am working hard to break. I remember in high school (ahhhhh the carefree high school years) I had crystal clear skin. I made a conscious effort to not touch my face. In fact, I would get very upset and scream on people for touching my face. I know, that was a little extreme, but look at my pay-off. My beauty resolution is stop using stop abusing my skin and to go back to the meticulous care I gave my skin high school and see what I can do to recapture the beautifullly clear skin of my youth.
